Timeline/Mini-units of investigation:

1: The Concepts (approx 1 week)

Learning Target: I can use texts, art, music and reflection to deepen my understanding of key concepts.

Terms: Confidence, Nonconformity, Intuition, Independence , Free Thought, Connection to Nature

General flow: Each night, students come up with a definition for one word (show thought process). We spend the class exploring art, music and short writings that embody that word, in addition to the definitions students have come up with. We develop an understanding of the word as a class. Why do these concepts matter? (Do they?) Students choose a word that they connect to or care to explore this term.
