Here are some questions your chapter should address:

• How/why does your character find or know about the garden?
• Where is your character from? Does he or she live in Cleveland Heights ?
• What challenge is your character going through that the garden can help with?
• How does this character change or grow because of the garden?
• What does the character grow in the garden, or does the character play a different role somehow (like Royce, who doesn’t grow anything but helps out in all kinds of ways, or like Florence who simply loves to watch the gardeners at work).
• What will your character’s voice be like?
• What does your character look like?
• What do other people in the story think of your character?
• What character virtue does this person demonstrate?
